When creating your ad, you will see an āEnable Pay & Shipā toggle to activate/deactivate Pay & Ship for your listing. It is enabled by default for your convenience. With Pay & Ship enabled, you will have a Pay & Ship badge on your listing and buyers will be able to pay for your item on Gumtree and have it delivered to a pick-up point of their choice. We only charge an 8% Pay & Ship fee on successful sales.

We canāt accommodate parcels heavier than 20kg or larger than the extra-large dimensions (60cm x 50cm x 30cm) at this time. Make sure your measurements are correct or you may incur charges later if the package is bigger than youāve specified.

When you have indicated that you are able to fulfil the order, the next step will be to select your preferred drop off point from the 1000+ locations that Pargo offers.
When the buyer collects their package from their chosen Pargo pick-up point, they have 24 hours to raise a dispute. During this period, you will see the amount payable to you in your wallet as a Pending Balance.
If the buyer approves of the item received thereby completing the transaction, the purchase price minus the Pay & Ship fee will be credited to your Gumtree wallet as an 'Available balance' after the 24-hour window period. You will be able to use the funds to purchase on Gumtree or withdraw it to your bank account where it will reflect within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.
If the buyer receives their item and it does not match what was listed or is damaged, they can log a dispute within 24 hours of picking up their package from their chosen Pargo pick-up point. When the buyer raises a dispute, it is submitted to our Customer Support team, who will review and communicate with both you and the buyer. During the time that the dispute is being resolved in terms of Gumtreeās Dispute Resolution Policy.
Should the dispute be resolved in your favour and the transaction completed, you will be notified, and the money will be released to your Gumtree wallet where it will reflect as an āAvailable Balanceā. You will be able to use the funds to purchase on Gumtree or withdraw it to your bank account where it will reflect within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank. Ā
Should the dispute be resolved in the buyerās favour and the transaction is not completed as a result, the return process will be initiated. See the return process here. The funds will only be refunded to the buyer when the seller has picked up the package from their preferred Pargo pick-up point.

If items are sold or become unavailable, Ads must be taken down promptly, and should Sellers fail to do so, Gumtree reserves the right to suspend a Sellerās account or remove Ads which don't adhere to Gumtreeās Rules for Posting.
